Richard Brevard was born in Orange, New Jersey, and grew up in Hillside, New Jersey. Studied under Academy Award winner Melissa Leo. He worked as a Bouncer at Night Clubs in Hoboken and Elizabeth, New Jersey for 6 years. Has one daughter Amalia Yasmeen Brevard. Had interest from several different AFL (Arena Football League) teams to play Football but turned them down because of injuries and to Focus on his Acting. Brother of Neo-Soul singer Carolann Brevard.
