Raquel Villar is an actress and performer that began her artistic path as a child in a church theater group. At the age 15, she started studying at Contemporary Theater Company, and since then improved her skills in many study groups like Laura Alvim, Cal, Eva Due Bruce, Sarkis Tcheumlekdjian, Marcia Fiani, Jo-Ann Endicott, and many others. In her 20s, she debuted in a soup opera from TV Globo, one of the biggest broadcasters in Brazil, and kept working there for six years. During this time she also shot six movies and performed at five different plays. Nowadays, she is part of an independent theater group in Berlin, Ohne Festen Wohnsitz, and had already performed in two plays, one of them 'Opdakh,' which had received the BfDT Bündnis für Demokratie und Toleranz 2019 prize.
