Callum Burn

Callum Burn was born in North London in 1992. By the age of six he was already a keen amateur film maker, using his parents camcorder to make short animations and dramas, with family members in the starring roles. In 2011 Callum moved back to London for two years to study at MET Film School in Ealing. During his two years at MET Callum developed a keen interest in the War Movie genre and produced and directed two thirty minute war films; 'Fusilier' in 2012 and 'Fray Bentos' in 2013. In Nov 2013, Callum, his father, Andrew Burn, and fellow MET graduate Sam Parson formed Tin Hat Productions. Tin Hat is a film production company set up with the primary purpose of developing and producing period war film content.

A young pilot, fresh out of training, is called to join a Flight while they wait for the call to scramble. Throughout a single day, he witnesses the skies of southern England filled with deadly dog fights, and after every exhausting battle the men return to their dispersal hut, only to find another of their number missing. Unwilling to surrender, the pilot and his comrades unite to take to the skies once more, determined to defend not only the airfield, but their entire country.
