Cris Mertens is a Los Angeles based animation and live-action editor whose projects have been distributed by HBO, Lionsgate, Paramount, and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. Raised as an American in Japan, Cris' cultural upbringing inspired him with the ideology of 'Shokunin' which means the complete mastery of one's profession. Collaborating with indie filmmakers and large studios alike, Cris is fueled by efficiency and thinking outside the box on every project. His enthusiasm for building compelling stories with slick sound design is matched only by his unequivocal love for Weiner dogs.
