After graduating from USC's film program as well a degree from the prestigious Art Center College of Design, Core started his career as a Director of Photography on such films as "187" for Kevin Reynolds, "Payback" for Brian Hegleland, "Mumford" for Lawrence Kasdan, "Dancing at the Blue Iguana" for Michael Radford, "The Fast and the Furious" for Rob Cohen and "Daredevil" for Mark Steven Johnson. After focusing on directing commercials, Core was hired to direct the very successful "Invincible" for Disney. The film was produced by Mayhem Pictures and it starred Mark Wahlberg as a 30-yeard-old rookie in the NFL. Core was also the cinematographer on the film. Core is working on a film for New Line Cinema called "Conrail". He resides in Venice, CA with his wife and child.
