Ben Petrie
Ben Petrie is a Canadian independent filmmaker. He wrote, directed, edited and performed in "Her Friend Adam," which premiered at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. The film proceeded to screen at SXSW, TIFF Top 10, and across North America as part of the Sundance Short Film Tour. In 2016, Ben was featured in Filmmaker Magazine's annual series, "25 New Faces of Independent Film."

Two mismatched entrepreneurs – egghead innovator Mike Lazaridis and cut-throat businessman Jim Balsillie – joined forces in an endeavour that was to become a worldwide hit in little more than a decade. The device that one of them invented and the other sold was the BlackBerry, an addictive mobile phone that changed the way the world worked, played and communicated.
