Katarina was born into an artistic family of mixed, mainly European heritage. Although her professional acting career began in recent years, she was writing her own projects before joining drama schools in London since 2011. She appeared in TV series for the first time in 2010 and after moving to London pursued career and joined some well known productions. Acting talents were recorded in family history. Her mother's grandparents and auntie Rozi Szollosy were involved in theaters around Hungary and later in Italian opera house. Roza Szollosy was a dancer, daughter of famous dancer, performed in theaters of Budapest. Her daughter Rozi followed steps and remained performing in Budapest Appollo theatre, later began with opera singing and relocating to Italian stages.
