John Patrick Carlos was born on October 18, 1988 in the province of Santiago City, Isabela, Philippines. He is of Filipino and Chinese descent. He migrated to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada with his family in 2005 and in 2009 he became a Canadian Citizen. He studied Acting for Film and TV at the Vancouver Film School (VFS) in Vancouver BC and graduated in 2011.
