Korak Samanta is an actor based in Kolkata, India. He's been associated with theatre from an early age, and has frequently collaborated with some of the reputed theatre groups of Kolkata. As a voice artiste, he lends his voice regularly for several national TV series, animations, audio stories and audio book platforms. As a stage actor of over a decade of experience, he has been associated with 20-odd productions in various languages. As a screen actor he debuted in 2017 film 'Iye: The others', directed and produced by Debesh Chattopadhyay, the veteran proficient of Bengali Theatre. He's been cast for Fontush (based on Fleance) in the acclaimed series 'Mandaar', created and curated from the Macbeth by Anirban Bhattacharya for the popular Bengali web platform Hoichoi. Korak lives in Behala, Kolkata and speaks Bengali, English and Hindi.
