Willem Jacobson

Willem Erik Jacobson was born on September 20th, 1995 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. An only child, Willem began his career as a child actor in 2004 after being considered for an acting role in a Los Angeles, California TV series with ABC. After meetings and a screen test with the Los Angeles staff at ABC, he returned to his hometown of Vancouver to appear on BC-filmed productions. After appearances on various commercials and short films, Willem was cast on the pilot episode of Criminal Minds: Extreme Aggressor (2005) as the episode's serial killer as a child. In 2007 Willem made his first appearance as a principal actor on the film Anna's Storm (2007), a film for television shot throughout British Columbia's lower mainland. In 2014, Willem appeared as the drone pilot in Seth Rogen's film, The Interview (2014). He has since begun to produce his own content, collaborating with filmmakers from Canada, Mexico and England. In 2019, Willem graduated Vancouver Film School's film production program, specializing in Producing and Cinematography where he created a 19-minute short film called Likeness (2020) with Mexican director Pablo Celaya Navarro, and another short film called Muscle Memory with Mexican director Inda Macías.
