Saroop Singh Sran (famous as Saroop Parinda or Chachi Atro) was an Punjabi Comedian & Actor. He was born in 1938 in Bathinda, Punjab into a Jatt Sikh family. He is known for his work in movie such as Putt Jattan De (1983), Kulli Yaar Di (1970), Subedaar (1991) and Patola (1988). He died on March 4, 2016 in Bathinda, Punjab.
