Lauren's fast-paced high concept screenplays feature quirky, misunderstood characters who come to embrace their unique talents. With comedy as her scalpel, she slices to the depths of human drama while leaving the audience in stitches. Lauren also enjoys writing novels and children's books. Her work for children is her favorite vehicle for expressing her passion for the environment--most particularly, her love of eisenia foetida--that's worms to you! She regularly volunteers her time (and worms!) giving vermicomposting workshops for preschoolers and elementary school children.
