Pankaj Upadhyay Pankaj Upadhyay is a Bollywood and Indian television actor, theatre artist and a writer. He is known for his works in the movies Babumoshai Bandookbaaz(2017), Heartbeats(2017), Naina(2005).[1] Early Life Upadhyay was born in Gorakhpur, in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, to Ram Kumar Upadhyay and Urmila Upadhyay, as the youngest of their five children. His father worked in a cement corporation company. He completed his high school from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Akaltala, and his senior secondary(+2) from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Gwalior. He then moved to Pune to complete his graduation from Symbiosis International in 1995.[2] Career After completing his graduation in 1998 from Symbiosis, he worked in Indian Express and British Physical Laboratories(BPL). But finally in 2003, his passion drove him to Mumbai.[3] After a bit of struggle he got a debut in an un-credited role in the movie Naina(2005). Since then he has worked in several episodic serials and daily soaps[4][5]. He has also featured in many advertisement films, theatre works, movies and a web series. In his early days, he mostly featured in villainous jobs.[6][7] Later he played variety of roles in Indian television. Pankaj Upadhyay then got a breakthrough again in Babumoshai Bandookbaaz(2017), Heartbeats(2017) and Betaal(2020).[8] Personal Life Upadhyay married to Madhuri on 7 March 2002 and they have 2 children a son and a daughter.[1]
