In 2017 Mariea backpacked Europe visiting seven countries in six weeks: Romania, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Ireland, United Kingdom, and Czech Republic. That same year she started a daily yoga practice and a year later signed up to become a certified yoga teacher; teaching vinyasa practices and guiding meditations. In 2020 Mariea learned Transcendental Meditation and has been practicing daily ever since. As a film and theatre actor Mariea spent most of 2019 on stage performing in three plays; Bad Jews by Joshua Harmon where she portrayed Daphna, Unnecessary Farce by Paul Slade Smith as Karen, and Last of the Red Hot Lovers by Neil Simon as Elaine. In 2022 she performed in Another Antigone by A.R. Gurney as Diana. When she's not performing you can find her learning new pranayama practices, planning trips, writing, drawing, reading, recording meditative nature videos to drop on TikTok, and taking morning walks with the sunrise and evening strolls after dinner.
