Prior to venturing into the field of acting, Swati had a successful career as an astute HR professional in several large corporates, where she worked for 21 years. Despite reaching senior positions in esteemed companies such as IGL, Zee Entertainment, Amar Ujala, and Uttam Toyota, she decided to follow her passion for acting and is wholeheartedly dedicated to pursuing it full time.
Originally from Prayagraj, Swati completed her schooling and college education there and went on to pursue an MBA from Dehradun. She resides in Mumbai for her profession but has her home back in Delhi. Swati is a loving wife and mother of two children.
Swati's professional background is exceptionally rich. In 1999, she was selected in the Indian Army as a Commissioned Officer and has received several accolades throughout her career. She even received the prestigious President award for marching in the "NCC" contingent on 26th January parade in 1993 on Rajpath. Swati holds an NCC "C" certificate, is a state-level badminton player and is also a skilled Kathak dancer.
