Taabbu was born in a Bengali family at Darjeeling district in west Bengal . He was youngest son among two. His father was state govt. Gaggeted officer in forest department . He was very fond of story books reading at childhood hence he used to spend time in local library . He also played cricket very well due to his injury at knee he left at that time . He was and is die heart fan of sour av ganguly . He passed his masters in English literature from bardhwan university . Due to his father's job he had to join in different schools a across the west Bengal . After that he was preparing himself for civil service at state level and for banking . He got job in one of the top multinational companies in India . But after few he again ran after his passion and started to meet directors in tollywood . He went with his stories to be a script writer. He met a music director who sent him to a director who was planning for a new film and after hearing taabbu's story director liked that and suggested to act as well . After that his passion got a turn and started to do director Anthony Jane 's first film Pappur biye , a social satire on marriage . He has done his first film in Bengali before that he did music videos and local drama theatre and a bhojpuri film that did not release .
