Jennifer Poppe

Jennifer Poppe is a Canadian actor and creator with a passion for telling stories that provoke audiences to think bigger, feel deeply, and become more whole. Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, she is an alumni of Ambrose University's theatre program and has been participating in and cheering on Alberta's theatre and film communities since 2014. Recent film credits include a post-apocalyptic feature, Father of Nations (Thousand Year Films), and a true crime drama, Exhumed (Pyramid Productions). Theatre credits include devised work such as Tethered (Sage Theatre's IGNITE! Festival) and LION (Ambrose University), Shakespeare productions such as Much Ado About Nothing, Comedy of Errors (Prime Stock Theatre), and naturalistic, relationship driven pieces such as Eleemosynary and As It Is In Heaven (Fire Exit Theatre). In addition to her work as an actor and creator, Jennifer is an experienced arts administrator and was the Artistic Associate at Fire Exit Theatre 2021-2023.
